I am so happy to announce we are getting our GRASS this week!!!
We have had everyone here all at once, the concrete guys, the fence guys, the sprinkler guys and maybe tomorrow GRASS. Wow I am so excited. So far we have only had very minor problems with everything. I'll post the before and after pictures as soon as the after arrives.
On a funny side note, I looked out of my window yesterday and their were some Mexican men sleeping in the shade on my porch. I guess they were waiting for a tractor to get there to dig the sprinkler lines. Anyway when I went out a little later to get my mail, I noticed all the "tools" that they had brought with them. There were a couple of bags of Panda Express, a bunch of soda, random lunch size coolers, wrappers and wait for it... a microwave. Yes you read it right they brought a microwave for what, I don't know. It was just sitting there in the dirt in my very soon to be flower bed. I was trying to imagine what was so appetizing that needed to be nuked in order to enjoy it, that you would lug a microwave with you to work, outside, in the dirt. So funny.
I wanted to take a picture of all of the crap that they had brought with them so y'all could enjoy it but they kept walking by me and I didn't want to make them feel bad. So I did the next best thing and stood across the street, hopefully I can zoom in enough that you can see the true beauty of the mess.

THat story cracked me up, LIsa! It was fun seeing you for a second the other day. You look GREAT. Beautiful, as always. It will be so fabulous for you to have grass. Horray! We just got our sprinklers in. We will be gettin grass one of these next weeks. IT's a loooooong process. I can't wait until it's all done!
What the crap, who just has a microwave on hand. that is hilarious. As long as they do a good job who cares I guess, right?
It's true, you never know when a MW will come in handy. What if your McBacon burger gets cold or your Slurpee is too icey? One must ALWAYS be prepared in such a situation.
